Retailer Networks is developing a vibrant online social networking community serving the fragmented universe of independent retailers.  This unique enterprise will bridge a gap of unmet needs for independent retailers, delivering them vital services customized to their vertical marketspace and designed to enhance their business operations and enabling them to thrive.

Retailer Networks launched its first vertical “Spoke” to great acclaim in September 2007.  The Gift & Home Channel serves the U.S. Giftware and Home Accents market, which is comprised of 800,000 stores with projected 2007 sales of $118BN and employs over 4million people.  The channel currently provides interactive online community, IPTV learning, and business skills tutorials, with more features being progressively introduced.

Our vision for Retailer Networks is of a thriving independent retail sector populated by successful independent retailers contributing to their local economy and community.

“America’s business has always been about small business entrepreneurship.  That’s been our historic driver of prosperity…

By any measure, retailers are overwhelmingly small businesses.  More than ninety-five percent of all retailers have only one store outlet.  Almost ninety percent have sales less than $2.5 million and more than ninety-eight percent have less than 100 employees.

… Small business is often where the American dream is born and grows into America’s greatest retail success stores.  It’s where America’s pioneering spirit demonstrates itself everyday.”
